Happy New Year

Today is the New Year and a beginning of a new start. I’m gonna keep it short and sweet. It’s a new year and a new beginning, a time to start anew. It’s time to let go of the past and get on with the future. 2008 is gone, 2009 is here let’s make this a great great great year.

I hope everyone remembered to eat their black-eyed peas and collard greens. The black-eyed peas will bring you luck and the collard greens will bring you money. In the south every New Year’s Day we eat collard greens and black-eyed peas. According to old southern wives tales and my Nana, the more collards you eat the more money you’ll have in the New Year and the more black-eyes peas you eat the more luck you’ll have in the New Year.

So eat up all and check back tomorrow.
